I was trying to find a charger for my phone and was approached by a security guy who thought I was up to no good, but sadly for him I wasn’t. He was a little rude thinking he was clever but he did manage to tell me what I needed which wasn’t his job as he could have advised wrong. That wasn’t my main issue today I was in the same Wigan store and that same guy was on the George entrance being very loud and rude to people and talking down to people again trying to be clever. Whoever he is get him off the floor he needs re-training I’m sure he shouldn’t be talking to members of the public the way he is. He’s not young and should know better.

I needed to quarantine during these times and I could only do my groceries online. I have no idea how much food and money I have wasted thanks to ASDA. Rotten potatoes on the delivery day, pierced meat trays, an insane amount of food about to expire on that same day, the very next day or lukily in two, being impossible for any human being to eat it all in such time interval. Today again, I just threw away a meat tray that was supposed to expire tomorrow as meat was greyish and stank, that came in a delivery where a chicken pops tray was pierced, two tomatoes where rotten, chicken slices expired the next day and 4 products were unavailable. I really liked ASDA even thoug replenishing was wrongly done (first to expired at the back of the shelf and new in front) but since being isolated my opinion has drasticly changed. Bye ASDA so long, welcome any competitor. Trying Tesco for my next groceries, wish me luck.

Always big queues at checkout as there is never more than 50% of them open. When I complained I was told that it was because people preferred 'self checkout' I pointed to the queues of people waiting for the manned checkouts and asked her if she was actually being serious or did she have some sort of counting impairment. I gave her my trolley with about 100 worth of shopping in it and went to Tesco instead. It was worth losing the 1 in the trolley to get out of the place. It's always the same and from now on I will do all my shopping at Tesco, a far more pleasant experience, the staff are way more helpful too.

Wigan's Asda \Supercentre\ is everything that the name suggests. It \asda\ be the largest ASDA I have seen and features its own two level car park and an immense grand hall that could easily house a Boeing 777-9X - maybe even 2 end-to-end. As a rare visitor to Wigan, the traffic layout around the shopping park takes some figuring out, but while I was there traffic was at least moving which is a bonus not seen elsewhere always for centres of this kind. With so much shelf space, the only question that remain is \what quality is the stock like\, and with such an immense offering the answer has to be good enough for its market. Huge store.

This place always delivers. They have excellent dishes for reasonable prices, there are no long waits even when the place is loaded.
