I love a good curry and believe me this place served us one of the best we have had in a long time and we go to all the best curry restaurant s in LEEDS and Bradford. Authentic taste cooked by Indians who know how it should taste, the service was great and the price with drinks for 3 of us was 50, a must if you're in the area. I visited this place again 8 months after my last visit and I was left wishing I didn't live 200 miles away, the staff were charming and helpful with choice and the food was delicious truly mouthwatering. I wasn't that hungry but it was impossible to leave any. 5 stars all day long.

I’ve been a loyal customer at Bar Turan’s for years and went to the restaurant last night for dinner and our drinks order was taken/served promptly. Then waited for 45 minutes, our waiter was nowhere to be seen and all other waiters seemed too busy to attend to us (even when we were noticeably requesting to be attended to from our corner). We were still understanding but then a couple came in and sat next to our table and their drinks and food order was taken straightaway. That’s when I had to go up to the bar to ask and as expected they completely forgot about us. They apologised and took our order at the bar and then mistakenly served our starters to the table next to us! That meant the food had to be prepared again and we waited another 15 minutes. Then a waiter comes to us and asks us if we are ready for our mains?! We finally received our starters, to be fair which were delicious as usual. Once finished we requested if we could have the mains now as they promised us it will be ready as soon as we are done with our starters (I would expect it after such shambles). Guess what, waited another 15 minutes and no main course. It was enough and we made the payment at the bar and left. The food here is delicious and we understand it’s a difficult time for all businesses but this is an absolute joke of treating your regular customers. Waste of an evening, won’t be returning again.
