We found this hidden gem unexpectedly, driving by from the Highcliffe Castle. We were purely amazed by this restaurant, food and service, that they have provided. First of all, it is run by the French staff with a French chef, who cooked beautiful and very tasty dishes! Mussels, grilled seafood and desserts were simply fabulous, but my winner was the steak from the Specials board, which was one of the best steaks I have ever tried, perfectly cooked, so tender and flavourful. Although this Bistro is almost 2 hours drive from our home, we would definitely come back again. Thank you for the lovely dinner and great time!

Absolutely fantastic! Excellent food, friendly staff who know their food and wines and a nice atmosphere. Really good value as well. I think they have it spot on here by having a small menu with a few specials but making sure all the food is exceptional. We were recommended to try here by a friend as we are not local but visit the area every month. We were so impressed we booked again for 4 weeks time. Well done to all involved and I hope you continue to flourish. Judging by all the 5 star reviews you have found a winning formula.

Really enjoyed the slow cooked lamb here, recommended by the lady serving us. Despite the quite curt message about lack of children's options before we arrived, my 8yo daughter thoroughly enjoyed her authentic garlic bread and pan fried fish. Great wine too. Felt safe and relaxed with covid measures.

Ordered a 3 course dinner take out for my husbands birthday, we were not disappointed. It was all beautifully cooked and very tasty, they are obviously doing their best to stay in business during lockdown2 and I hope they succeed. We will definitely order from them again.

What a fabulous addition to the dining options in Highcliffe A simple menu with really tasty food, well prepared and presented. Friendly staff and a relaxed bistro environment make for a very enjoyable evening. A simple well priced wine list with very good value wines. Thank you Charles and your team, we will be back.
