I would definitely recommend these guys for any work to your car! From beginning to end Dan (the manager) was a legend, he was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Didn't try to mug off like other places, just wants to do right by the customer and that's all you can ask for. Had two different services provided by this branch in two weeks, they're all friendly, professional and helpful.

Booked my Peugeot 207 cc in for an MOT at Formula One Autocentre on the 4 January 2021 (Town Centre Branch). They used to be Autowise Work Shops but changed ownership last year. (I have always used Autowise, Polegate for my car repairs and MOT’s, never had any problems and always friendly, honest & helpful). Well I certainly can’t say the same about the new owners of the business (or reception person working the front desk)!! They failed my car on the rear offside disc brake plus added approx 8 advisories for work to be carried out in the next 12 months. Cost of replacing both rear brake discs (told at reception they always have to replace both even if only one is worn, at a cost of over 500!!! I was astonished so much work needed to be carried out due to the fact I have never, over many years of driving received such a dreadful MOT report plus the fact over the past 12 or so months (my car had a 6 month extension) had not been driven anymore than about 550 miles during that time. (Previous owner added approx 200 miles before I collected and paid for the car). It was obvious they wanted to carry out the ‘so called’ costly repairs themselves however I informed the grumpy reception employee that I was going to rebook my car in for a second MOT at just a testing station. I had to wait 10 days to get my car booked in again which meant in the meantime I had zero transport. My Peugeot 207 cc was again MOT’d yesterday and PASSED with NO ADVISORIES!!!! Photos attached! It’s not just totally wrong to try and rip customers off for their own financial gain, through my eyes it’s wicked that they have no problem blatantly lying to people purely for profit and greed ️PLEASE AVOID USING THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY OUT LARGE AMOUNTS FOR WORK ON YOUR CAR WHICH ACTUALLY DOESN’T NEED TO BE COMPLETED ️

Great customer service and a knowledgeable, professional service from Dan. Having been mugged off by Kwik Fit next door, I took my tyre to Dan. I was impressed with his can-do-attitude of “we can help you”. He fitted us in and fixed the tyre. Job done - great service. Highly recommended.

Clean, tidy garage. Good online service to arrange 4 new tyres at the best price I found. Fitted within 45 minutes while I had a walk around town. Nice waiting area. MOT viewing area. Friendly staff that were happy to help and seemed very organised and worked well as a team in a professional manner.

Review from 2019- Arrived at 8:30am for a MOT. They didn't get to my car until 4pm (I was then told it might not be ready that day). I then got a call at 5:10pm that my car was ready for collection. Had I of known they were working on my car, I could have made the trip in. But because I was only informed at 5:10pm I couldn't get there before 5:30pm. I was told to collect the following day and the phone was hung up on me. I needed to be in Reading the following morning, so had to cancel all my meetings because they didn't want to wait 10 minutes for me to get in on no notice. When I collected the following morning they asked me to pay before taking me round to my car - where they informed me it was hit by an ambulance when they took it for a test drive. Couldn't make it up. They had buffed out the corner where it was hit - and thankfully couldn't see any damage. Do not recommend.
