Dishonest experience using this branch. The first time I booked I was then turned away twice and after booking again, almost got turned away the third time if it wasnt for my persistence. They offered a 25% discount for messing me around and then tried to charge full price again! They weren't happy about the discount which THEY offered and remembered this when I visited the second time. Second time I visited I was quoted 250 for all 4 coil packs, 4 spark plugs and an MOT (over the phone - fair prices)... When I arrived back after giving them the car, only 1 coil needed changing which should have brought the price down to less than 150, but the but they still tried charging 250 for no reason except they claimed one coil was different because it's a "special model" (I own a standard BMW 116! It doesn't get much more common than that and coil changes are done regularly on these cars!) All other garages quoted 30 but Formula One increased it up to 70 per coil and increased the prices of the spark plugs MOT! I had specifically told them to call me before replacing, which they ignored because they clearly had planned to charge me this after already finishing the work when it was too late :( The branch blatantly then lied about giving the original cost in their quote on the phone and then threatened to make me pay the full price of 250 again after lowering it a bit! Very unprofessional customer experience, and unfortunately will not be using them again.

MOT booked on-line. 2nd time I have used them. First was 1/2 hr late, which I tolerated. Todays was 1 3/4hr late. I mean you book a slot and turn up 1/4 hr beforehand as requested and they start an hour later than planned.An MOT cant take more than 45 mins as it is a defined set of tests. There is a dedicated bay for MOT's and ALL the slots today were clear on-line, which is why I booked it thinking I could be in and out quickly. There is so much choice in MOT centres I wont be going back. What really annoyed me was the lack of apology.

Awful service - Avoid. Took my car in for service and MOT. Promised to be ready in 4.5 hours - it took them 2 days. On the way home tyre pressure warning light came on and the 'new' tyre fitted was dirty and covered in white marks. 3 days later the brake warning lights came on - car taken back and they 'explained' that it had nothing to do with them. 3 days after that the brake warning lights came back on again. Had to have the car repaired at another garage where they found that a brake pad warning sensor had been damaged. They refuse to take responsibility for the mess they have made. Mistakes, delays and faults are your problem not theirs. Unless you want to end up in hospital with stress take your vehicle to a garage where they actually care about their customers.
