Park Lane Stables

We go every year with my son who has additional needs. The staff are always so lovely and really engage with him to make sure we all have a good time as a family. This year obviously we could not go but the way they handled the cancellations and changes has been second to none. We cannot wait to attend this year.

Nice big rink in a lovely setting. We went for a 1600 slot on Thursday with my 3 year old for her birthday. Decent ice, ok skates, not too crowded. We had a ball!

Absolute debacle of a car park payment set up. There's a number plate recognition system but you still have to go to the machine that's in a dark corner with no lighting or instructions - and the machine doesn't work properly... People are confused, they are trying to remember their number plate, there's a queue because the ice skating kicks out every 45 minutes and there's only one machine. And did I say the machine doesn't work? For every person in my queue the number plate wasn't recognised. Could I suggest an app? Great ice skating though, thanks, despite the fiver for a knackered old penguin.

A real shame to be writing this as I absolutely love HCP and have been a HRP member for a year...but the ice skating and cafe are a complete rip off. We waited over an hour for the food we preordered to arrive ...turned out to be a Camembert with a sliced up wrap to dip? Wouldn't mind if we hadn't paid so much, but for the money we paid, this was really disappointing.

Great place to go ice skating, with the lights it's really magical. It can be difficult to get tickets but I'd definitely say it's worth it
