Very poor experience with this location. The tyre itself and the booking process I have no issues with the actual delivery and inability to manage expectations is why I would not return. The booking email and text said any time after 12:00 but to ring first. I rang at 12:00 and was told to come down anytime, I arranged to come in 15 minutes. I arrived at 12:15, dropped the car off and was told around 30 minutes. I left to grab a coffee from town. I then get a call saying the tyre is not here it will be ready for 2pm. At this point I am annoyed why I was not simply told this when I called. I did not want to damage the car with another avoidable journey home to only return again so opted to wait. At 1:30p I am now told it will be 3pm. I am now more frustrated why this has changed again and walk home as I am not prepared to waste more time sitting around. I am told I will be called when this arrives and is fitted. At 3:45pm no one has bothered to call me when the latest deadline has again been missed so I have to chase up to say it has now just arrived and will be fitted. I returned and picked up the car and was home for 4:45pm. What should have only taken 30 minutes wasted the majority of an afternoon with no actual honest answer given at any point that could have mitigated matters, this makes me very reluctant to use them again if any information given is lip service. While the staff were polite each time they spoke with me, no actually managed expectations with honest answers nor did anyone explain why an appointment system is being used that books people in before parts arrive and why this is not picked up and corrected at the point when someone makes the initial call as requested. All in all a farcical system that is then poorly managed by all involved.

Had brakes and handbrake done, took a little longer due to locking nuts but all sorted with minimum fuss and only a little extra on the price. Excellent customer service and knowledge from Trevor and the team with open & fair pricing. Been going here since moved to Northampton and will continue to do so. Thank you all for your efforts keeping me on the road.

Never thought I'd find a garage where I felt I could trust them to keep me updated and explain different options and not just choose the most expensive. Found that with HiQ though and not just a tyre place but trusted mechanics as well and friendly manner to boot. A mate uses their other garage off welly rd and they sound just as good as well.
