A services in a good position off the A30 with a personal touch. Good food choice, friendly staff and very clean. My only issue was it was a bit cold in there. Highly recommended the lemon and white chocolate muffins

Cute place to stop off for a quick snack and hot drink! And dog friendly to boot! Limited seating due to Covid-19 but if you able to sit outside on a nice day, that helps. Staff were helpful and ensured we signed in with Track and Trace for our safety. Definitely plan to stop here next time we pass through.
Among my favourite pit stops. Very pleasant inside and outside seating areas. Adjacent car park, and petrol station. And...top marks for compostable packaging.
We ALWAYS make a point of stopping here and clearly lots of other people feel the same as it was really busy last week... it's just the perfect size, not daunting, not noisy and a great selection of simple food. We wish more service stations were forced to be like Hog and Hedge (personally recommend "The Extra Mile" book; you need never set foot in a big service station again!)...
Its probably very nice but the bypass carriage way signs says public toilets only when you pull off the A30 and drive over to the other side, the Hog and Hedge sign toilets for customer use only unless disabled. Its mean especially if you have children. A polite request to purchase to help pay for the service might get a better response.
My family and I stopped here for a quick drink and loo break mid morning. There were families having breakfast outdoors in the pretty gardens. I bought a coffee and a packet of gourmet boiled sweets for our journey. The staff at the counter were welcoming and helpful. The coffee I bought (a Piccolo - as recommended by one of the helpful staff) was excellent. Thank you for our lovely visit.
Loved their flat white and toasties were good too. Refreshing break from driving. Would definitely stop here next time we drive that way. They had cold and hot food with variety of drinks. Another plus is Clean toilets, for which we had to queue because of too many travellers. But it wasn't a long wait.
Lovely place great staff! Helpful and nothing was to much. We ordered the wrong drink and due to allergies they changed for us, my little boy then spilt another drink Aaron was great, helped right away and was polite. Another staff member over heard and came over to check if we wanted another drink. Great customer service! Well done :)
