Our experience at La Botija was superb. From the moment we booked on the phone we were welcomed and made to feel comfortable and (during Covid pandemic) safe. We were talked through the menus, given excellent advice and shown just how our experience could be improved through ordering the right mix of dishes. The food was sublime - the authentic Spanish cooking was unlike anything we’ve had before (and way better than some of the alternative other local restaurants). The mix of flavours and ingredients had us guessing as to their origins, only to be guided through the style of cooking and the tastes we were encountering by the extremely friendly owner. We ate, paused and ate again. We couldn’t help replaying the course we’d just had with other dishes that did not disappoint. All in all our evening’s experience was one we will not forget and one we’ll be repeating again very soon. My 14 year old daughter was trying to convince us to go back the following evening! Thank you so much for treating us like royalty, and for feeding us as if we were too. We shall return.

Girls night out.3 of us. Great to see hand sanitisers on each table. We had a selection of dishes all very good. I had the cheescake white chocolate & raspberry for dessert the best one i've had it was lovely and light. The service was great and the social distancing was thought out well.

Food was great, wide variety of small plates from which to choose. Very good for sharing. We had the prawns, meatballs, steak, aubergine, mushrooms and a few others I can't remember and then the tiramisu and cheesecake to end. Very tasty and great fun straight after lock down. The host was very attentive and seemed genuinely interested in making sure you had a good experience and great service. Why only 3 stars. Probably not fair, but the windows, especially the frames could do with a really good clean. Please go here and enjoy the food, just don't look at the windows. I would go again as well even if the window frames are still not clean.

We came here for my sons birthday and what an absolute surprise, great little family run place with fantastic service and amazing food. There is a really good selection of tapas but the taste of each one we had from prawns to the beef was amazing. We tried the chorizo cooked in cider which I'd never seen before and wow this is a dish I'd recommend to anyone visiting. We didn't make it to the dessert as our eyes were bigger than are bellies and we eat too much but I'm sure they are just as tasty...Next time we'll get there! Nice location with large carpark so no stress there either, if you get the chance this is a must try restaurant.

Its a real shame, the service wasnt great, the food took a while, and just wasnt very nice. We asked for Sangria and they said they didnt have any, then we watched them serve to another table, we asked for a cocktail, and was told that they do not not do cocktails, later in the evening they served the next table with cocktails. They brought out one of our starters after some of of mains came out, they didnt bring out a paella that we ordered but charged us for it. We had to get up twice and get there attention to order new drinks Nice people and i think they are trying but really poor evening for us!
