Really great experience with the owner and the widely respected CFI Captain David Smith. He is rather like a 'Tom Cruise' character in his prime. Customer care is the schools aim and sets a high bar for others.

Been learning to fly with this company for a couple of months now, training for my PPL. Very impressed with the training and instructors - would highly recommend any day! David is a real credit to the team and has the patience of a saint. Thank you all!

My son had a great day, the manager was very helpful. Make sure you call to confirm, as other reviews say, if the weather is bad, it will need to be changed to another day, but this is never an issue. Please do not book through Virgin Experience days, they are rude and charge a lot more, book directly. Adventure Experience 001 should be avoided too. My son flew over Amersham and Chesham as well completing circuits. The pilot was great fun too. I can highly recommend MAK Aviation, thanks guys.

Amazing experience and great fun! We bought 2 experiences so each of us was able to pilot the plane for a few moments. Our pilot, David, was very kind and professional. He made us feel safe and provided a lot of information about the plane and flying in general. It was very windy, so we waited around 1,5 hour for a decision whether the flights will take place, but it was totally worth it! Those who easily get sick should skip breakfast, especially if it's a windy day.

This review is about customer service. And this place has none of it. I arrived with my wife - it was her birthday present. They began asking me for a 6 landing fee. I responded by saying it would have been nice that they had told me when I called them last night as I had not bought money with me. The gentleman was so rude and started lecturing me on always carrying money, and refused to apologise about not telling me about this extra charge. The other couple that were there also agreed and said they had no idea they had to pay a landing fee either. The the pilot started defending the guy as well! Then to make matters worse, they threatened that they would not take us for the lesson because we were efusing\ to pay, to which I said i have not refused, I am upset that you didn't tell me. We have spent 200 and its reasonable to assume everything would be included. The other couple paid for us and we paid them back later. These people are a right bunch of morons. Steer clear - plenty of other flight schools there
