My attention was drawn the previous day by the persistently long queue that I could see from the pub over the road, despite the pouring rain. Struck lucky this afternoon by walking straight in and soon found out why. Simple menu. Good value. Fresh home cooking. I had the wild mushroom and bacon quiche which came with three different salads of my choosing. My dining partner had a thick gammon slice, home cooked chops and two fried eggs. All delicious. As the queue grew outside again the quality of what was on offer was exemplified by the outstanding table service. Quick, accurate and efficient.

We found this little gem on our last day. We wish we’d found it sooner. The staff were friendly and it was very well thought out with COVID regulations. We were surprised it was dog friendly too as we couldn’t find anything on their website so was all set to grab a takeaway. The coffee was great and the food was amazing. Came out quick and well presented. Will definitely be returning when we come to Arundel again!
