Really lovely cakes, would be 5 stars if they didn't use palm oil, surely there's an alternative they can use. Now I've noticed it in the ingredients I'll be giving these cakes a miss, and I WILL miss them.

Wonderful cakes and pies. Normally I prefer home made and rarely buy cakes and pies but these looked good and were excellent. Thoroughly recommend.
Just been to the butchers in Coningsby and the Cherry Bakewell Tart looked delicious. How disappointing upon taste to say it tastes nothing like a Bakewll Tart . It's just normal sponge, jam and pastry.

I would like to say how very disappointed I am that this local bakery who I wanted to support when purchasing their Steak Pie today is using PALM OIL in its pastries. I ha e taken a photograph if the label of which I can't attach to this review !! There is so much deforestation taking place in the forests of Indonesia and Borneo, where the natural habitat for Orangutans is being totally destroyed that it is a real threat to the populations of these beautiful creatures. I suggest that Wilcox Bakery act quickly on this issue by checking out the Save the Orangutans Website and find an alternative ingredient and turn their backs on this disgusting activity !!
