I have just come back from an incredible volunteering experience with Refugee Support Europe at their dignity centre in Cyprus. I have been blessed to spend time with an inspiring team of staff, service users and fellow volunteers. The work that this charity does deserves the highest praise for the compassion, support and dignity it provides to refugees and asylum seekers on the island. It has been a pleasure to have helped and learnt from all the people I have met.

I volunteered with RS in July 2017. Led by the inspirational John and Paul, RS is a well-run dynamic charity with a clear, attainable mission: provide aid with dignity.

Would recommend these guys highly if you're looking to volunteer. Wonderful people providing aid with dignity while supporting their volunteers at the same time. Hope to return and volunteer again in the future. They're doing really amazing work, the money you raise goes straight towards providing food and products which are all locally sourced. Providing aid with dignity is always at the forefront of what they do.

I volunteered with Refugee Support in 2017. They were incredibly professional and supportive throughout. I was fully briefed before the trip (knowing what to expect and what to do/not to do while out there) and had daily briefings every morning during the trip so I knew what I was doing and who I was working with. The only thing hard about the experience was processing what people have to go through living in the camps but Refugee Support gave me a debriefing call after I returned to talk through how I was feeling, which really helped. Overall it was an unforgettable experience and I'd have no hesitations recommending Refugee Support to someone who's seriously considering volunteering.

Refugee Support Europe is providing aid within refugee camps, to those in great need. And with profound dignity and integrity; all by committed volunteers. I volunteered in 2016/2017 and was immediately impressed with the thorough professionalism of the organisation; and the caring and considerate approach of the wonderful volunteers to all aspects of the tasks needed. If you are considering volunteering, then do. For me, it was a thoroughly rewarding and spiritual experience. One which I hope to repeat at the earliest opportunity. If you are considering donating, then do that as well. Every single donated goes to where it is needed. A well deserved 5 star rating here....
