I see my niece and her baby in there, we were walking around separately and kept our distance but she see a different variety of baby foods in there but had failed to pick up a basket as she had only \popped in for one thing\ so she asked me to pass her some jars from the bottom shelf and carry them to the till for her. Well one female worker walked up to us with pure attitude and said \you know we are a one customer per household store!\ Then walked off before we could reply. Then proceeded to go gossip with her pals at the tills. Maybe she should be trained at better customer service!! Not just be a gossiping jobs worth.

I had a terrible experience at sainsbury's today..I use this sainsbury's regularly but there where a catalogue of failures today made worse by the store manager Julie. Allow me to explain - i went in to pick up a couple items - just a basket. I decided to use self service and as I approached I said to the lady that I had alcohol which had a tag on it. She said that I had to pay first before the tag would be taken off - i said to her that it would need approval first before payment. Anyway, to save time I scanned all my non restricted items and then lastly scanned the alcohol. The lady came back and said I needed to pay first - i then showed her the screen which required her approval before the payment screen would be available. She saw this and got confused - anyway, she then switched tact (after seeing that she had advised me wrongly twice) and asked me to prove I'm over 25 - I'm 38 years old - yes 38 - and she was about 25 herself. At this point, I just gave up. On my way out i asked to to speak to the manager - Julie - hoping that she would see sense - after all I'm 38 - not 17. Julie doubled down on the initial mistake and said I could be under age. I was offended by how she interacted with me - i saw she was not seeing sense - so I've fed this up to sainsbury's head quarters and now I'm waiting for a call from Rob Johnson - I'll record the outcome on here. If I could give a minus star I would - minus 10 ***Update - i want to Thank Ulissa, Debbie, Lily and the talk Male Manager with a beard - they truly listened to my feedback and those staff are brilliant - thanks for listening and going some way to correcting the situation ***
