What a lovely zoo. It was our first visit here and I was very impressed. Unfortunately it was a wet and windy day when we visited, would be nice to visit again in warmer weather to get the full experience. It's not a huge place, but there is a lot to see. We were there for three hours. Would have been longer had weather been better. Foot safari was nice, getting to see prairie dogs and lemurs etc up close. All the animals looked really well cared for and their enclosures were all nice and clean and well kept. Good play area for the kids too.

A great place to visit! Definatley great Value for money. Lots of parking on site and lots of animals to see, even though its perhaps smaller than some other zoos. A great little walk through area where you can feed some them if you buy the zoo's food. Can get up close to the lemurs and the bird walk through is great as they fly around you. Animals seem to have space in the enclosures and zoo is nicely laid out so you don't have to go back and forth to see everything. Also, have done well with the social distancing, making some areas a one way system and providing sanitiser for hands. Only downside is that you can't take picnics into the zoo - you have to go back to the car - even though food is sold in the place - but not a big deal. A great place to visit and would recommend a visit here.

Absolutely loved this zoo. We've been to a lot of zoo's and this ranks amongst he best. There are walk through enclosures where you can walk with kangaroos, wallabies, Rheas, emus, capybaras, vultures, parrots, lemurs. As well as feeding giraffes, lemurs and penguins. This zoo is a must. All of the animals seemed really happy and we saw every animal except the raccoons. They were all out even though the weather wasn't great.

Excellent, great day out. Brilliant variety of animals and lots to do for children, park and little hands on activities as you walk round. Plenty of good toilet facilities and baby changing. Post-COVID procedure excellent, plenty of space. A few places to eat, but very limited menus. Would definitely recommend taking a picnic as you are able to head back out to the car to eat and then return inside with your ticket.

What an amazing Zoo, an absolute diamond. My family and I have been to many Zoo's and yes this is not the biggest but there is just something about here. Having the ability to walk through enclosures with the animals and birds is an experience that will stay with me and having the opportunity to hand feed Giraffes. My only gripe was some of the other visitors where not following the guide line on distancing but thankfully it did not spoil our day. This is somewhere we will be visiting again, completely value for money. Hope you give it a go.
