I am a contact lens wearer on the Specsavers Lens Scheme and a customer of many years as is my husband. I had been experiencing discomfort in my left eye for several weeks. I had tried everything I could think of but with no result. I saw Michael at Specsavers yesterday. He was extremely thorough.During the examination of my eye Michael noticed something stuck on my cornea. Thankfully Michael was able to dislodge it. The whole procedure was painless and quick. I would never have been able to remove it myself. I had a follow up appointment today and all is good. Such a relief! I would highly recommend Michael and Specsavers. All the staff are extremely professional and proficient. I have no doubt that the current circumstances must make their jobs far from easy but you would never know as they still provide the same level of excellent customer service. Many thanks from a very happy customer!

My 6 year old son with Down Syndrome needs to wear glasses....easier said than done. Andrea Ridgway was outstanding with him. She involved him in the whole process and didn't talk down to him. These types of appointments can be very stressful for my son but Andrea was doing High Fives etc and my son had a ball...he felt so much at ease. Any time we went in to the store she made a point of seeing him and my son just adores her. Andrea just has 'a way with her.

I had a really good experience today with a very helpful and informed member of staff. This is often the case but not always. The Covid safety measures are well observed though at the waiting area the seat beside me wasn't cleaned after the man vacated it. Overall good.

Have to say they have been amazing during this strange time excellent service with my dad recently very understanding that he can't lipread with them wearing masks let me be with him to explain everything as always x
