Our visit was for a sad occasion... but the church was lovely... churches always give you time for reflection
like
A modern, cold and unforgiving place. The phrase \The unquiet grave\ comes to mind. As a place for worship it may be worthy but there is no comfort to be found there neither for the body nor the soul. People ask, \Why do congregations dwindle?\. Visit this sad temple and experience the answer without words. Religion should never be so cold.
Went here for a Christening. Very church with attached function room.
A traditional C of E church, with a mixed congregation. Suitable for families, couples, young, old, singles...the list goes on! The church feels good when its buzzing, so I would love to see a few more go along on Sundays. The children have great fun in the new 'Sunday School' which has been re launched and has great activities for the younger ones. Lots of other things going on - the Choir, social events, Friendship Group, home groups etc..A great way to feel part of the community and have a sense of 'belonging'.
Beautiful church. Has a good sized hall for various functions.
