Really good surgery, sometimes hard to have an appointment. Joy, the nurse, is especially nice and works very well.

Without fail, this reception have made every communicative experience an utter misery for the past 20 years. They are incredibly rude, dismissive, reactive, judgemental, unprofessional and make receiving treatment humiliating. They purposefully withhold information and simply ignore requests if they don't like you. They are honestly notorious in the borough for being incredibly rude, and for gossiping! None of these people should be in customer facing roles, and evidently NONE have been trained in maintaining positive regard/ rapport with clients facing mental health difficulties. Several times the tone has been so downright nasty I have gotten off the phone and cried, having been made to feel I am begging for medication which has been agreed on and is necessary. I have been forced to move surgeries like many other people I know, from the area we grew up in. I have too many relevant examples to even fit. Doctors are mostly fine, reception staff are an active deterrent for MANY to seeking treatment where needed.
As someone who has lived at 9 addresses in the last 10 years, and therefore 9 different GPs, this one is by far the best! You can always have an appointment, they are very efficient with repeat prescriptions and the reception staff are very helpful. The GPs are very caring, listen to you and don't make any assumptions or present bias. They really do want the best for you and keep checking on you to make sure everything is going well. The nurses are very competent, friendly and have great personalities. I really don't want to have to move again because I don't think I'll be able to find a surgery this good again! Would highly recommend and thank you to Sterndale for all you have done for me.
Receptionist so unhelpful. Three times she said “no, that has to be done online, if you can’t do that write it all down on a piece of paper and post it through the letterbox.” Well, the online services are shocking. You go around and around in circles so no wonder others have found it difficult to use. As for my sharps box, I failed to find an option for this online like you said I would and I’m sure posting it through the letterbox is not an option. I will ask the pharmacist on advice on this matter as the receptionist made it quite clear that talking to her was not really an option.
The receptionist who I spoke to when needing to book an appointment for my baby was so, so rude and unhelpful. She was also very patronising regarding my confusion on how to book an appointment, and she had an awful attitude considering the circumstances. Despite my politeness throughout she then hung up the call. Very unprofessional and inappropriate attitude from a member of reception at a doctor's surgery.
