Good place to hangout. Comfortable for students and ofcourse you have football matches telecasted. Beautiful outdoor space. Affordable as well

COVID compliant, used QR code to log in, host brought our doggie water to our patio table -nice. You can order through an app or at the bar. Saw a server properly cleaning emptied table, drinks we took off tray ourselves, but couple of staff did linger a little close. Pub fare, spicy rocket burger pretty good except fries weren’t Cajun as promised - S’OK. Very sweet BBQ sauce on pulled beef fried sweet potatoes but all in all good drinking food. Nice craft IPA. Not bad for an affordable cheeky pint and some chow.

They let me use the toilet without expecting me to buy something straight away. That's real hospitality for you. I will go back there for drinks with mates sometime in the next few weeks.

Wish I could give them a zero. I emailed ahead of my booking to see if they were playing a specific football game. They said yes. So i booked baring in mind you have to pay 10 pound deposit to book a table. After arriving and the game not being on I ask four separate people to put it on and they all agreed but nothing happened. After asking the fifth time I got told by the manager that they weren't showing that game tonight EVEN THOUGH IN THE EMAIL THEY TOLD ME THEY WERE!!! I have wasted half an hour of my time and missed the football game. In this half an hour no one came to take our drink order either. Absolutely appaling. The doorman was also strange and rude.

A popular pub which like everywhere else is practising social distancing. The staff are helpful. You order at the bar and the drinks are bought to your table. Bizarrely, when the drinks arrive, you have to take them off of the tray yourself. Why, I don't know seeing as the staff are the ones that put the drinks on the tray in the first place!
