This was one of the best things that i did in York throughout our stay. We booked on for the 6:30 slot, and when we realized we hadn't booked my father on, we rung up and when we got there they were absolutely fine. The tour guide was imaginative and great at telling the ghost stories. York is a very flat city in the center, so the walk is suitable for all and you do not have to walk very far before then next story is being told. It was a great experience (especially at this time of year) and if you are looking for a fun way to spend the evening definitely do this

I loved this ghost tour so much! There was a group of 5 of us who were out in the pouring rain, so we all hoped it would transform our evening and it did! Pat was our tour guide and what an absolute delight he was! so charismatic, funny, and an amazing storyteller. He really made the evening worth coming out in the rain on a cold October evening. The stories were spooky and to have a private tour of York was just lovely. Thanks so much to Pat, you were the highlight of the whole trip :)
We are not really ghost believers as such, but thought this would be a fun way to spend an hour on our recent stay in York. We were not disappointed! What a thoroughly entertaining guide of the York streets. The guide was very informative, with lots of historical facts and tales of past misdeeds, delivered in a eccentric and suspenseful manner, which added to the fun. The hour passed far too quickly. Highly enjoyable.
Money well spent! And a perfect mask free activity!! Over an hour of walking through the beautiful streets of York. Mark is a marvellous story teller who transported back in to share his knowledge and tall tales of the many things that lie in the very walls and soil of this city.
Please! If you are traveling to York, be sure to visit this tour. Incredible professional guide, unheard city legends and unique atmosphere. Totally recommend!
