Fabulous place. We went on a beautiful sunny but not hot day. Stunning place in itself with equally stunning backdrop. How amazing to be having a swim and a huge naval vessel glides past. Fantastic to have a full 50m to swim across in one go. Feels like a real good swim. Water cold but almost gives s sense of wild swimming but you know it's clean. Absolutely fantastic, great value for money. Love everything about this place

The changing facilities could be better. It needs some love in places. But if you are a fan of sploshing around in water then it's a delight - a wonderful space which needs our support. A roped off area for more confident swimmers provides a good distance to enjoy - in the region of 50m. The view over the Hoe provides a stunning backdrop. The renovation of the lido seems to have brought around an air of rejuvenation to the area, with cafes and restaurants opening, providing a wonderful environment for a post swim hot chocolate.
