Only place in Oxford I could find bread yeast and flour for breadmaking! Plus lady behind the counter was helpful in getting the right stuff. Incredibly varied range of vegan products for such a wee shop - have added photos of the ones I bought. Has all sorts of spreads (very varied), sauces, chocolate, vegan cheeses, grains, and nuts. Bag is even 100% degradable. Highly impressed!

Unfriendly and rude staff. The Organic Shop in town in Jericho or the Wild Honey in Cowley are much better and friendlier towards customers!
Lovely inviting shop with a range of products to browse. I don't follow a particular diet, but they have lots of vegan and speciality foods on offer. They also have lots of niche items and brands.
This is a wonderful place. The shop, and hence the range, is quite limited but the proprietors and her daughters stock lots of delicious and right-minded things that would be difficult or impossible to get elsewhere. Highlights are the best humus in the World (leave some for me!) and an excellent choice of chocolate bars for grown ups (including the best of the best, Montezuma). There are also plenty of cereals and seeds and nuts to choose between, together with soaps and so on and even some interesting bottles of wine. I have always found the owners very friendly and helpful. One comes away with a bag full treats and a feeling of virtuous delight. Hurrah for East Oxford's very own Souk! Hurrah for this island in the sun on the Cowley Road!
