Virgin Active Reviews | Rating 3.5 out of 5 stars (5 reviews)

Virgin Active is located in London, United Kingdom on 108-110 Cricklewood Ln. Virgin Active is rated 3.5 out of 5 in the category fitness center in United Kingdom. We set out to create a health club that’s different from all the rest. We love helping our members to be active. But we’re not uptight or overly serious about it. That’s the way we do things around here. We don’t believe in hidden extras or locked doors either – you can use everything you want to in our clubs. \n,We set out to create a health club that’s different from all the rest. The gym is well maintained and has plenty of space to workout. The prices however are way too high. There is no excuse for charging customers 89 a month for facilities that can be found in pretty much most other gyms.

It's not as good as it should be. For the high price that you pay for the membership you don't get what you pay for. Machines are out of order often, the pool sometimes is closed, there is always an issue, like no towels on a day and then the next a power cut, whatever comes along but always referred to the maintenance of the club and the equipment. Ah and the jacuzzi is lovely with underwater lights but sometimes is out if service too.

Overall Cricklewood is a great gym and staff and members are really lovely and parking facilities are great and the class teachers are good. However the one thing I’m very unhappy about is the whole new booking system which I know is down to head office when they have never worked a day in the gym and they have no clue whey they are doing And it’s no longer a relaxing and enjoyable experience like it used to be as there is not enough classes and no one has the opportunity to get into classes as they have made it so complicated and this is one of the reasons why I just don’t want to come back

Since Covid no more Sauna no jacuzzi no Power Plate , waiting lists for many classes because so popular. The gym is often full but quieter on weekends. Staff are lovely It's nice to have somewhere to go and work out, people are focused on their fitness so it's motivating The pool can get busy at certain times and they also have busy kids pool times and classes Locker rooms are tidy People are supposed to spray clean machines & mats before and after use Annoying thing is it's impossible to dry the mat properly so can get slippy for yoga. There's always an empty Studio, great for doing your own thing

Spacious gym with lots of equipments but comparing what you pay for membership, the costumer service is poor. Dirty and smelly toilets, broken lockers, dirty changing area, rude reception.
