[Sept 2020] First time boaters. Rented small canal boat for the day. The owners came with us through the first lock to show us what to do and then left us to it. Had a great time. Would recommend and definitely do again.

amazing day , we were first time boaters and with instructions and little training we managed go through locks and had a day of adventure. Friendly and down to earth staff . Easy parking, lots of bars on the side of river no need to prepare picnic, but if you do kettle and hob is there. And also everyone we met while boating were so kind and friendly , no problems with returning boat and deposit. Already looking to book another one Thank you for a beautiful day
A little bit wet but it didnt stop us having a great day out with the family.
We had a lovely family day for my dads 80th birthday we went packed with a picnic and moored up near a field it was idyllic and the weather was good too. Thankyou stuart and Julia keep up the good work very nice people
Luckily we have lovely friends and family so had a great day...but having hired day boats from other places we found this boat, small and not very clean at all! We have quite a bit of experience with canal boats but were 'taught' before we could take it in a very patronising and unnecessary way. There definitely needs to be an element of trust from the owners if they want to hire out their boats as it definitely is not the Queen Mary 2.
