Best afternoon tea in the area! Even better to visit the house as well. So interesting and Mackintosh did it all by post - he never actually visited the house so it shows his brilliance - loved the whole experience so much been back a number of times!

Great experience for the design and architecture lovers. Lovely afternoon tea.
Been here twice now. Unique house designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. So interesting and beautiful design. Had lovely afternoon tea in the cafe with my Mum on Mother's Day too. Highly recommended as a treat. Booking is a must x
We all had a fantastic visit to this fascinating historic gem from my daughter to my father in our party of 6. Interesting history about the building, the family who owned it and of course the Scottish designer Rennie Macintosh. Anyone who likes an interesting afternoon out would love it here including those interested in interiors, art and design. Lovely staff and very well organised with social distancing. Nice gift shop and a gorgeous cafe too with traditional afternoon tea cake stands!
If you enjoy Art Deco this house is not to be missed. The inside is not at all what you expect. It is Charles Rennie MacIntosh’s commission outside of Scotland. Free tours. The entrance ticket is good for one year.
