Steve delt with our emergency with a broken garage door in a speedy, professional manner. He was extremely helpful, calm and managed to complete the job quickly, and we would wholeheartedly recommend the company, and use the company again. Absolutely brilliant!
I had a problem with my uPVC door lock. Thought I could fix it myself by changing the barrel, but no. Time to stop messing with it - don't want to break something! I called these guys, and they gave me an idea what the fault might be and quoted their rates (very reasonable). The guy turned up when he said, wearing facemask etc etc, and had it sorted in half an hour, with no parts required. I chose Abbey Gate as they are members of the Master Locksmiths Association - there's a lot of cowboys out there, so it's worth looking for someone reputable who won't 'build the job up' or rip you off. I'd recommend these people to anybody.
Excellent service. We used Abbey Gate Locksmiths to replace a very old and insecure lock on our wooden front door. We were after a similar sized lock that would be up to insurance standards and cause minimal redecoration. I would say our expectations were exceeded with the lock replaced within 1 hour this morning and no holes to fill in. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. They were very friendly, professional and knowledgeable throughout (I had a lot of questions prior to the installation). Thank you :)
Fantastic service. I locked myself out and Abbeygate were with me in fifteen minutes, my front door open less than 5 mins later. I have dealt with four locksmiths over the past few years and Abbeygate are far and away the best and they charge a reasonable price, as well.
