Pre sale and actual sale appointment good. Clean, bright showroom. Friendly staff. Post sale customer service shocking. Easy sale for salesperson, cash sale and trade in. Picked up car to discover parts missing. No follow up phonecall from salesperson a few days later (I was told I would receive one by another salesperson.) Phoned numerous times to be told my salesman was there and would put me through to him, rang out to then be told he couldn’t take my call and would phone me straight back. Days went by I called again and again. Emailed to get nothing back. Finally called and asked to speak to manager as I wasn’t happy with post sale customer service who said he would email my salesman to make it a priority to phone me back and shock he did. Never asked how the car was going just said about parts missing that they would be sent to me and he would be in touch (next day) after speaking to parts team. Salesman never called and I have still not received any further communication or missing parts 3 weeks later. It has put me off buying from John Clark again as once the sale was done there was no interest in aftercare.

Mixed feelings about Aberdeen Seat and kind of a long story! Took my partners Ibiza in with some warning lights and funny fault code. Service team were great, friendly and helpful and gave me a courtesy car for 4 days. Technician spent 14.5 hours on the car and fitted over 200 worth of wires and connectors and they only charged me for the quoted 3 hours labour. Sounds like a winner?! Only problem was they diagnosed it with a faulty ECU and quoted 1800 to Replace. I took the ECU out and sent to a specialist for reconditioning who tested the unit and said no fault found. Now 500 down and still in the same boat I then took it to Aberdeen Auto Electrical and 2.5 hours later and a new DPF sensor the problem was solved. I then contacted the manager at seat who was very apologetic and knocked a load of money off a new radiator and a service which the car was needing. All in all a good service all round just a poor diagnosis from technician which cost me a lot of money and almost 2.5 weeks with no car. Then I had to take them up on the money off offer to recoup some of my costs but would've rather given the work to my local garage who charge less than half of these guys! I don't understand how the dealers can justify such a high hourly rate and not have the skills and knowledge to back it. I know where i will take electrical problems in the future.
