Nicely decorated and staff are welcoming. The food is very well presented but a little lacking in the art of good cuisine. The portions are very good possibly too large. The nan was excellent. The potato and lentil cake was nice but exceptionally oily making it hard to finish. The salmon had a lovely mild sauce but was very overcooked so it was hard and tasteless. Both dishes had good ingredients but there was a lack of focus in preparation that should be avoidable on a quiet Sunday night.

This evening we had our first takeaway from the Gurkha Corner, and wow, it was amazing. Arrived on time and every aspect was great. Seriously one of the best we’ve had from anywhere. I had a lamb nettle curry and it was beautiful. The pilau rice was great -a class above the usual takeaway rice. We also had a king prawn dish which was superb. So thanks guys. We will be back.
