Beautiful area to walk around, so peaceful. Clearly marked walks for different abilities and distances, just follow the coloured signs from the car park where there’s also lots of info. This forest has half of all the UK’s species of trees which are marked by name posts. Well worth a visit

Beautiful place to go for a walk in the forest. Three diffrent walks ranging in length. We walked the longest to see the forest garden, it was well worth the long walk to see the native trees. Beautiful valley with strem at the bottom. Easy parking and toilets.
A beautiful place to visit. Proper wild country and totally unspoilt. Great pubs to boot.
Top riding and the the black Lion does good food and fab beer. What's not to love. Oh yes, the areas beautiful too. Get walking, get riding, fishing whatever ya fancy. Just enjoy it
