Great place to chill out
like
I have stayed in 3 bothy s so far this being my favourite. We had a lovely fire going and the place to ourselves until another couple with 3 dogs turned up. Not a problem we had a nice chat and went to our own rooms the place is big has 3 bedrooms upstairs and a lounge with wooden benches with a wood burner the kitchen has an open fire. There was some manky mattresses lying about which could do with being disposed of. This bothy compared with others is allot lighter has a good view down a valley and was cleaner. There is plenty of fuel nearby but the wood store was empty. Allot of people leave food and even beer but some cleaning supplies woudlnt go amiss.
It's a bothy in a beautiful location. Not the cleanest bothy when I was last there but more than made up for it with a beautiful view and stunning location
Love it here as it’s miles from civilisation. Plenty of space if you turn up & there are other people staying. There’s a composting toilet in a shed, spring water for drinking and cooking and a woodburner in one of the downstairs rooms. Don’t stay here if you want en suite facilities, electricity and WiFi.
