Used to be 5 stars. Came in tonight. Told they didn't have half the menu as they were closing. Girlfriend is lactose intolerant. No options available for her. When we asked if they could do anything we were told just a pizza with no cheese. Upon asking if there was anything else they could do we were asked why didn't we phone ahead and let them know she was lactose intolerant. I find it disgusting that an establishment isn't able to provide at least one suitable vegan/lactose intolerant option on their menu, without the customer having to phone in advance.

Ate here for lunch two days in a row and it’s sensational! Chef Ludo is one of the best in the business. First lunch, we had the specials including pigeon and guinea fowl. Today we had the Sunday roast. This place is a must for anyone from near or far! Very friendly and welcoming staff too
Never ceases to impress!! Chef Ludos menu is flavoursome and consistent. Margaret the owner is warm and charismatic, always friendly and charming. Charlotte the waitress helpful and attentive...would highly recommend this place.. Well done during the pandemic, keep up the good work...we'll definitely be back!!! Kirsty and Michael xx
New refurbished destination dining pub. Lovely host Margaret, fantastic , freshly cooked food. Lamb rump is absolutely to die for, steaks cooked to perfection. Good selection of wine and beer. A lovely place to visit. Highly recommended.
