The work ethos of this garage is magnificent. Greater than a pair of weary travelers could expect. My colleague and I were paddling the NC500 Highland coastal route in a kayak for charity. Our safety vehicle developed a brake problem. Our driver limped the van into Forbes Garage and explained the problem. Although it was late in the day Forbes stepped up and fixed it allowing us to resume our journey in safety. Highland hospitality at its finest - thanks Forbes Garage. By the way we collected 1660 for a military veterans charity.

I was 500 miles from home when I realised my VW camper was out of MOT by two days. I know, I know, my wife has mentioned this at length.. I was in a really bad situation, being the end of the month my car tax wouldnt renew with no MOT so it was head home with no MOT time only 3 days into a ten day trip unless I could get it tested. Forbes garage were just brilliant. They were very busy but managed to do my MOT that afternoon and really did save the day, I cant recommend them enough. Outstanding service and friendly staff.

I was on holiday in this corner of the world. Had a scraping sound from my wheel that got louder and louder. I thought my wheel bearing was failing. So I gave these guys a call. They diagnosed a loose wheel. Wheel bearing was fine, but hub sockets were corroded and worn. Threads cleared of corrosion, retapped, new wheel bolts, new tyres and wheels realigned due to uneven wear on old tyres. That was me back on the road just 3.5 hours after the initial phone call. Very prompt service for an unscheduled appointment and very reasonable pricing.

I would highly recommend this garage in every way. First class and professional friendly service. I called them and on the same day they fixed the tracking on my car and a new tyre so I could carry on my road trip. All the other garages around said I'd have to wait two weeks. Thank you
