Well, I could not say the same as the other posts. I am still confused on how my meeting with Adam Avenue Practice has been. Terrible experience from the word go.. The lady \doctor\ has been totally unhelpful and the practice manager is a rather nasty lady. I would not recommend, they are an absolute shame on the NHS.

I have recently moved to Adam ave practice from another practice and its best thing ive done g p's have been great and staff at reception very helpfull especially Linda who has been helping me out recently nothing is a bother to this lady tho to be fair there all great
LIKE PREVIOUS REVIEW I ALSO MOVED FROM ANOTHER PRACTICE TO HERE.WAS SICK OF TRYING TO GET THROUGH ON PHONE CONSTANTLY ENGAGED THEN WHEN YOU DID FOUND YOU WERE NUMBER 20 IN THE QUEUE. THEN 9 TIMES OUT OF 10 YOU ONLY GOT TOLD BY THE DOCTOR THAT HE WOULD LEAVE A PRESCRIPTION FOR YOU. HAVING NOT SEEN DOCTOR IN PERSON FOR OVER 2 YEARS. AND BEING THE BEARER OF A VERY SERIOUS HEALTH ISSUE. PHONING FROM A MOBILE. I HAD ENOUGH. ON ONE OCCASION I WENT TO COLLECT MY TELEPHONE PRESCRIPTION THERE WAS A VERY ELDERLY LADY AT RECEPTION WINDOW REQUESTING AN APPOINTMENT BEING TOLD BY YOUNG FEMALE RECEPTIONIST THAT SHE WOULD NEED TO PHONE FOR APPOINTMENT. A GUY STANDING NEXT TO ME WITH HIS WIFE AND 2 KIDS GAVE THE OLD WOMAN HIS PHONE TO CALL FROM WAITING ROOM. I IMMEDIATELY DECIDED TO MOVE TO ANOTHER PRACTICE AND CANT PRAISE THE DOCTORS AND RECEPTIONISTS FOR BEING EVER SO HELPFUL AND CHEERFUL WHEN YOU CONTACT THEM. WITHOUT A DOUBT STREETS AHEAD IN EVERYTHING DONT SEE PEOPLE SITTING AGITATED IN WAITING ROOM DIFFERENT CIRCUMSTANCES GOING TO A DOCTORS CAN BE BAD AND WORRYING ENOUGH WITHOUT HAVING TO HURDLE WALLS IN THE FIRST PLACE. SO THANK YOU ALL AT ADAM AVENUE PRACTICE.
Moved from wellwynd where it was a complete shambles, didn't get right treatment for best part of a year and put up walls before you could see doctors, moved here and they treated the problem correctly and reception staff and nice and friendly and don't expect you to tell them what wrong with you before giving appointments. If you want an appointment you get one. The way a doctors should be run.
