I went here and dropped my clothes off, no problems. Came back 3 weeks later to pick them up, there was a sign on the door saying due to family emergency, shop closed for one whole week with return opening date specified for 7 days later. I came back 10 days later, sign was still there. Contacted number left on sign for urgent deliveries as my dress was for a wedding that coming weekend, it went straight to tesco voicemail, so i texted ...nothing... texted again and called few days later...nothing again! I went in and still the sign was up a few more days. I obviously didn't get it in time for wedding and when I went a final time, the owner's mum was in trying to clean up the mess the owner had created. She was nice and didn't charge me but I am still appalled at how this was handled, wasted so much time visiting throughout. They weren't accepting new customers either and the lady I was waiting outside with for 30 mins whilst the mum was absent from shop wasted her entire lunch break. Total mess this place, never going back there! Plus the clothes did not smell fresh at all!!
Wedding dress alteration done in October 2016. I was given a quote for alteration when wearing dress with shoes before the dress was pinned. Fair price. I needed 2 separate appointments to check appropriate length of dress due to separate layers of tulle and silk. Very professional alteration, completed in less than 2 weeks. Very pleased with service.
Very friendly and open minded repair shop, it is worth pointing out that this shop is I believe an extension / sister company of K's specialist Cleaners which is next door. I now take my repairs to Adorn as K's told me to do so, I guess K's are two busy to do repairs now so had to extend. I dont mind as the parking outside is great and the same great service I had from K's I still get the same great service and value, if anything the turn around time has actually shortened. Repairs seem to priced individually depending on there the severity and time required, this seems fair to me and I have noticed that if I take my repairs in when they start to break rather then there thread bare the quote is normally cheaper. Repair dont replace.
I went in here for a simple reseat After the material was ruined by the sewing job, I confirmed this by asking another place about the job, went back in and not only was the company completely complaicent in their apology but also refused to give me a full refund after blaming the damage of the trousers that fit the exact same as weight gain, the trousers in question weren't worn again and I know that I have actually lost weight, either way the comment strikes me as entirely unprofessional. I was also overcharged. Don’t go to this place
I would never recommend this place as they are bad people. They take your money. Be careful
