I am a 32 year old female and an 11 year old relationship sadly came to an end in 2019. I did feel completely lost for a time but realised that I must dust myself down and get on with my life. Before joining Searchmate, I must confess I was quite bemused by dating and knowing which site to join, I believe there are more than 1400 in the UK, many with the same people on a shared database. At Searchmate it is good to be able to speak to knowledgeable people who can help and advise how best to proceed or at least set out your choices. That is right from the very first phone call too, I feel I have been very well looked after and valued as a member.
I have enjoyed being a member of Searchmate. It’s an upmarket dating service aimed at nice people, but not ridiculously so, offering good prices and excellent value for money. You get a full years membership with no hidden extra costs or more to pay, just an honest and straightforward service. You can also visit their office and check out the set up too, which I found valuable and very reassuring.

I thought I’d tried more or less every dating site, with very few successes because I am choosy, but I now know as with most things you get what you pay for. Searchmate is different because they meet everyone face to face and get to know them thoroughly at the start of your membership. I have met some lovely people and feel I could easily settle down with someone in the near future.

I joined Searchmate as I feel that keeping safe has to be the highest priority for a woman in 2020. I joined in January and obviously, since March we have been in lockdown. Thank heavens for the concept of video dating and being able to stay in touch with potential partners during these tough months.
