Brilliant service & amazing variety of fresh, delicious and very reasonably priced fish. I rang the owner up last minute today to check whether he had some fresh sea bass left for a small lunch my business is catering for tomorrow, he was extremely friendly, efficient & helpful despite there being a queue out the door. Shall definitely be using again!

I can't agree less with the last reviewer. We rolled up at this stall before opening time. The owner couldn't have been more helpful - even though he was busy setting up. We bought delicious skate, hot smoked salmon and cod. Beautifully fresh and reasonably priced. Previously, have had excellent whelks, lobsters, crab and undyed smoked haddock. Always good fish and friendly service.

I've been buying fish here for five years, took some friends on Friday morning at 9am (the shack signs say 8am opening) only to be greeted by an unfriendly man who said he wasn't open, we went back ten minutes later and he still wasn't that keen on serving us, my friend bought 12 scallops and only got 11, spent 40 in total. On leaving we saw dressed crab and wanted 10 (at 4 each) but the owner was incredibly rude saying actually they weren't open, hello read your own opening times. Trust me not buying fish there again, bought the 10 crabs elsewhere, sometimes buying local doesn't always give you satisfaction.
