The longest surviving outdoor pool. A great place for families for the young and old. They have reasonably priced food available at both ends of the pools as well as Slush puppies! It's cheap to enter the pools and you can stay allday if you wanted too, lots of grass to sit on and have picnics. The carpark is free. If you need a locker, make sure you take a padlock.. You can buy a padlock at the entrance but it will cost you 5.00. They are non returnable. The pool itself is not heated and the water takes some getting used to. There are no showers and there changing rooms and toilets are in desperate need of being remodernised. But overall not a bad place.

Really friendly and inviting, surprised to see no one wearing masks though, but they have applied other Covid precautions such as hand sanitizer, would definitely return

So surprised to see such a large Lido. Large pool for swimming, large shallow pool for splashing around in, small very shallow pool for very tiny people, 3 different flumes all included in the price. There were at least 8 lifeguards on duty. The price of entry was fantastic value. This place is a gem! Bring your own picnic and chairs, or eat at the food bar.

Great place to keep kids entertained for the whole day. Shame toilets a bit of a mess. Very good price for family entry, hope to visit again. Would recommend you arrive early to get a good spot and parking onsite. Otherwise it's the local park or off street.

We came down from London and really enjoyed our day. Huge swimming pool, great slides, sand pit for little ones and paddling pool and lots of grass area. Water freezing but great on a hot day. Will definitely be back!

I lived very close to here in my youth. It used to be billed as the finest in the south and I see no reason to change that billing. It's an excellent place for swimming, sunbathing, picnicking. You could spend the whole day there and not get bored.

Staff is polite and helpful, the pool is really clean with lanes wider than other leisure centres

This is the perfect lido. Clean. Lovely grassy area for a picnic. Lifeguards. Kiosk with chips and icreams etc. Entrance fee very good value for money indeed. Would highly recommend a visit on a hot summer's day.
