Beautiful building, food was good and I would say 8/10 for taste and value for money.

This place is first class food was brilliant as were the staff.
The main room we were sitting in to have our Afternoon Tea was very noisy indeed. Unfortunately the table we'd been given was only about a couple of metres away from the back of the bar where all the empty beer/wine bottles were being thrown into a recycling crate, so every couple of minutes or so there was a huge clanking sound of breaking glass. Not really the atmosphere you want when you're trying to enjoy an Afternoon tea, and paying nearly 40 for it!!! Also, nobody served us within the first half an hour of being there, until I asked one of the waitresses what the protocol was for Afternoon Tea. She admitted she'd forgotten we were there. The food itself was fine, it was just other things that spoilt it a bit for us. Regrettably, I won't be going there again.
Great place, Friday Fizz is a favourite of ours. Friendly staff and lovely food.
Great bar in Halifax , cocktail mixologist was keeping us fueled with tastes we liked ....very attentive . Took my 83 year old mum as it was a family celebration and we were there til 2am and felt safe as houses . Great outdoor area also
