Our casement window stopped closing on the hinge side. It was a security issue and it didn't seal properly. Not knowing who to call as the builder as gone into receivership I made an online enquiry and got lucky with Dan, even though his company did not fit our windows. He talked through the symptoms informed me off what he thought might be the cause and quoted a price should that be the problem, made an appointment and turned up when he promised. He very quickly laid out cloths to prevent carpet damage, wore overshoes and respected Covid-19 rules. Within 20 minutes he had confirmed the cause, removed and replaced the hinge pair and oiled other windows, outlining the likely cause of the hinges failure and providing advice on how to prevent the new ones, and others also failing too quickly. Very pleasant, down to earth, tidy and polite craftsman. Very pleased and more than willing to recommend.
