Normally Ok but ignore the opening times at the moment because the hours have been changed but the details here have not and they are not accurate.

Arrived at 5.30 pm on Saturday 10th Aug to find it closed. Wasted over an hour of my time and roughly one gallon of diesel to get from home to Alnwick. Update the opening times or open in accordance with specified times.

The ladies at this post office go out of their way to help you. I live it Wallsend but go to my caravan close to Alnwick on a weekend and i must say i save my parcels to post from there. The ladies try the parcel through the letter box gauge just incase it can be posted as a letter, which alot of the time it can saving me money, unlike the ones near my home who dont even try unless i ask. Keep up the good work ladies. Lovely friendly staff.

The stars i have given are not for the staff that work the main desk in this post office at this branch. The service they give is outstanding, friendly & extremely professional to say the least & are more than happy to put themselfs out to go the further mile to help you with any enquiry. They are easily worth five stars in my opinion. My problem is the lady who sells news papers, sweets etcetera.I have never met a more surly & unprofessional individual who manner was abysmal to say the least especially for someome who is employed in retail environment who has to interact with members of the public on a day to day basis.
