Amazing Fair!! You find from books, to clothes, paintings, cameras, and maaany more. Its a great window to connect with people. There is food available for purchase. You gotta come im boots or waterproof shoes though because it gets muddy when it rains.

Very good bird fair packed with a lot to see and experience. Art is good there. They need to invest in the private road leading to the mud bath of a car park. And invest in the fair itself to avoid mud baths. When I say they that could mean the farmer who owns the fields and or the Rutland water nature reserve too. A lot of kids go so parent parking should be allocated too. Price of the tickets should no doubt reflect the ground issues there every year.

The very best wildlife event in the world. Particularly focused on birds but offering much more. Impressive optics sections. The setting could not be any more appropriate and the organisation second to none!! Visited and worked at The British Birdfair several years in a row and can only recommend it!

Not a birdfair - a wildlife fair. Not small and eccentric in its nature, eclectic/diverse/inspirational and BIG. A place to come to and rub shoulders with anybody that has even the vaguest understanding and love of natural history - and that includes rubbing shoulders with the TV presenters, authors, activists and artists who deliver the wonder of our natural world to us the other 362 days. A mega event for all ages and all levels of expertise, you'll be back year on year!

Unfortunately due to a very rainy Friday, access was terrible. This was made worse by grounds men driving the quad bikes / vehicles around the ground and churning the ground even more. I must compliment entrance staff who helped me and my wife to access across the muddy ground. Felt very sorry for the stall holders. Who did put on a great show. Unfortunately weather has effected how good it could have been. A real shame as it's a great event. Fingers crossed they get there act together next year. With boards and a more considerate ground crew.

Simply the best place for birding enthusiasts in the whole of Rutland. Whether you want a holiday, optics, interest groups, birding software, clothing, lectures/talks, works of nature related art/carving, local food, or just about anything nature related this is for you. Warning can be muddy.

This year it really was the Birders Glastonbury with all the mud. Still enjoyed it though . The Ziess stall was busy as usual but managed to get binoculars seen to. Lots to see and lots of old friends to catch up with see you next year folks . Hopefully it won't be as muddy.
