Taking ghost payments off customers!! I tried to order a mattress topper and my money was taken and I had no confirmation of product when I went in my answer was the money will bounce back in 2 days and all we could do was re order and pay again and that it was a problem they were aware of.

Bought 2 x satellite extension cables. When I got home found that 1 packet had already been opened and an essential part was missing. After travelling back to store to obtain this and returning home to fit the cables, found that the connector on the end of one cable was defective - there was no thread to attach it to the incoming Sky connection. Argos may consider that it is cheap, but it is definitely not cheerful.

Best shopping experience in a long time... had to pop in because my wife had fast tracked something and asked me to pick it up on the way home. Opened the door and greated by a gentleman. Asked if I needed help? Even before I'd closed the door. I said yes please he took my order number and straight away was given my parcel. Was in and out within 1 minute.. My kind of shopping.
Very good service today.altho the shop was empty. Staff were eager to help.

It's a convenient Argos offering a good selection of items. It can be busy and sometimes it does appear somewhat chaotic.
Convenient with parking. Lovely town for more shopping.
