212 (Highland) Battery Royal Artillery. A great place - staffed by great people. For over 200 years, there has been a Volunteer Artillery Battery in Arbroath. Formed to defend against French aggression and attempted extortion, the volunteer Gunners of Arbroath (with outposts in Kirkcaldy and Lerwick) have since served their country around the world - in both World Wars and more recently in Iraq and Afghanistan. Offering training and development, the Battery (as part of 105th Regiment Royal Artillery) is always keen to hear from young men and women who are prepared to serve their country. With part-time (paid!) career opportunities as Gunners, drivers, communications experts, clerks, chefs and medics, the Battery will introduce you to a better lifestyle - building confidence, developing fitness and making lifelong friends.
