Our Boston was pregnant and as we hadn’t done this before wanted some advice. Phoned up and had to convince the receptionist to let us have an appointment. Apparently there’s no need to get them checked? Saw the vet, he wasn’t to sure why we was there. We expressed our concerns over what we had learned regarding Boston’s giving birth. He told us dogs have been giving birth for years and wouldn’t book her in for a c section as there was no point. We took his advice as he is the expert. Out of 6 beautiful pups 4 died in the birthing canal. Heartbreaking. Luckily we didn’t listen to all his advice and had someone to help with a scanner. All pups had good heartbeats. I wrongly assumed that the problem was Boston’s having flat faces, making it difficult. I now know that there pelvis’s can twist making it difficult, so the pup gets suffocated in the canal (not sure it’s the right term). 92% of Boston’s in the UK have a c section and performing a x ray can show how the pelvis is. This is why we went to see the experts, who only seemed bothered as to why we went at all!!Still charged. Burying 4 gorgeous boys was devastating, even more so it could of been avoided. Thankfully we didn’t loose Mum and have 2 gorgeous girls. Please go somewhere that cares.

Arundell used to be one of the best and cheapest in the area but just lately the veterinarians keep changing giving rise to poor communication, language barriers and misdiagnosis and the charges have escalated beyond belief. We’re changing to a different vets who appreciate their customers and are not so focused on making money.

Changed to Arundell from our previous vets, VETS FOR PETS, the reason for this is the service we had from them was disgusting from us booking in to them charging us hundreds of pounds more than we were told. Dont get me wrong money isn't important for our loved ones however not telling us before hand is wrong. The staff were ignorant with us on a few occasions. We had to beg for medication for our dying dog. We had enough so sought advice from other people about the best vets who care. Arundell was mentioned more than any other. From us talking with the receptionist to seeing the vet, I couldn't have felt more relaxed and made to feel that our pet and us really matter. Our vet explained everything I needed to know. Thank you Arundell I wont hesitate to recommend you.

No disrespect intended at all. Naturally I have respect and confidence in the vets. However miscommunication between staff, and veterinary practices is abysmal. Leaving me with extra costs and not being able to purchase meds. A few poxy tablets that they cannot bill me for. We reached no resolution in the practice even though I just paid out 300. Shame on you.
