Went in this shop with my lovely girlfriend, the shop owner was very nice and knowledgeable about all the items. They support lesser developed countries and stock a wide variety of clothes and items. The owner was friendly and even gave us a discount, had a nice conversation with him. I would recommend this shop for anyone who wants to see interesting items and clothing, or someone who wants to just browse a fun shop. You're guaranteed to find something that catches your eye!

Brilliant shop. They mainly stock clothes (adults and kids), bags and jewellery. I happily travel 45 minutes just for this shop (though it is always a treat to see Ashbourne). Equatorial stocks some beautiful unique products that you just can't get in most places. The store is always well stocked, the staff are friendly and the products are always of a good quality. Basically, I LOVE this shop!
We visited Saturday 10th November 2019. We love visiting Equatorial when we visit Derbyshire. This time I purchased a jacket (amongst over items) which I know will last me 10yrs. I could spend hours here as there's so much to see, I'm a XXL and never struggle to find good clothing that fits me here. There's even clothing for our dog. The staff have always been so helpful and kind, giving good advice on our purchases. One year giving us a dream catcher to hang in my sons memorial garden. Kindness we will never forget.
