I gave this place a 2* rating last year but also said I would re-visit. I went back (October 2020) and I was pleased that my experience was a much better one than it had been on previous occasions. The quality of the food was how it used to be, warm. full of flavour and a generous portion. I would say that I certainly got value for my money and really enjoyed my meal. Now that it has improved, I will be visiting more regularly. To be fair to the owners, I have now adjusted my previous rating to 4*. Since my previous reviews of Mozaic, i've been eaten from there on a few occasions (last time January 2021) and the experiences I've had has resulted in me re-visiting my my past reviews. Putting it bluntly, I've upgraded my previous rating to 5*. There are very few places locally that give this quality of food and the service is very good. Since the Covid situation, I suspect that this would have had a huge impact on the business in terms of loss of revenue due to them not being allowed to operate as a Cafe. There is one simple rule for people to follow and that is use it or lose it. I have eaten here more often recently because it is important to support local businesses and it wood be a devastating loss to Ashton if this place closed. The food is always freshly made and is the best quality. The flavours and choices are excellent and in my opinion it is still one of the best eating experiences you will have from the Tameside area. If you have not eaten here before TRY IT OUT AS THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS and you will not be disappointed! EAT LOCALLY...SUPPORT MOZAIC and you will be served superb food!
There's a reason why you usually have to queue up at this little place. The food is gorgeous. Very tasty. Highly recommended.
