Horrendous place to work for, break the legal requirements constantly. When I worked there I was expected to do a 24 hour shift including sleepover. (The bed they provided was a child's camper and you where expected to sleep in the office with all the noisy equipment. So trying to sleep on an uncomfortable bed with background noise was impossible.) What really nailed it was the expectation to go out and work in the community straight after these 24 hour shifts without a break, highly illegal. I reported this to the CQC. I also got a nasty telephone from the assistant manager once for not cleaning the kitchen floor as she had slipped on some grease. I had cleaned the floor in the morning prior to leaving, it was a resident who had made a mess afterwards, as the assistant manager and manager knew this, the resident had an issue of making a mess after they had done their daily fry up. The next person on shift should have been responsible for cleaning this (the Managers niece was the next one on shift, so a big cover up there for her not doing her job. There was also family favouritism by promoting training of NVQ's to family workers of the Manager prior to other staff who had been there longer. A totally corrupt and unethical company to work for.

Hideous place to work. Unhappy staff bailing out asap , Imminent CQC report due to be published and does not look good. Senior staff unsupportive . Staff concerned that they may not get paid .
