Gorgeous cosy country pub with great natural surroundings. Popped in here for a quick Sunday lunch and it didn't disappoint. The hearty roast tasted like home cooked goodness. I would have given a 5 star but the Yorkshire pudding was overdone and the sticky toffee pudding, I had for dessert had too much toffee sauce and only the smallest amount of custard. Besides the small mistake the service was great and I would definitely visit again.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch date with girlfriends. Friendly staff. Social distancing rules in place. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Food was excellent. Can't wait for our next visit.
Delicious freshly made cakes and pastries, just whats needed after a dog walk.
Popped in for lunch. We sat in the bar as the restaurant was full. I had fish and chips my partner had gammon and chips. I pinched one of his onion rings and I have to say, it was the best onion ring I've ever had. The food was outstanding, the service was excellent and the pub is set in a picturesque location. If you want proper home cooked food, I would recommend to anyone.
