I did a lot of research before landing on Planar, which I bought because it was quieter than the others I looked into and followed Owen on a couple of T5 Facebook pages and he’s clearly passionate about them. Took the plunge and although Owen was booked up I still drove from Kent to Wales to see Andrew at Remapping The Way. Been delighted with it overall. Had a couple of self induced issues and had fairly instant response from Owen even though he didn’t fit it. Highly recommend if you want a reliable and quiet heater.

Highly recommend this company and their staff. From ordering to fitting and the after care service is great. Both the fitter and the modem fitter were excellent. Helpful throughout and great advice on position of vents etc. Nearly had the 2D heater in T5 for a year now and it’s excellent. I think you would struggle to find such great customer service and aftercare with many companies now. Aftercare is great, any questions is answered quickly.

Had a 2k heater fitted by one of their approved mobile fitters two years ago and have nothing praise for it. It's kept us warm throughout some chilly nights (and days in fact!) and there have been no issues at all with the unit. Highly recommended.

No hassle with Brexit border issues even though it was posted to Northern Ireland. I purchased mine last August travelled to wrexham to have it fitted by them. I had it as I travel for work and stay in my van whilst I am away. Never used it til January when I went to London. I priced hotels for comparison and it paid for itself in 1 month as hotels wanted 260 a week best purchase as I did consider the Chinese version but glad I didn't as a I do is switch it on and without fail it fires up and keeps me warm no matter the temperature

I undertook a huge amount of research on which diesel heater would best suit my VW T5 camper conversion. I had a list of wants which included a reputable business, accessible aftercare, a decent warranty and a large base of positive reviews of current users. Based on the above I ended up buying a Planar 2D heater. The buying process was smooth and the technical support has been second to none. I know that there are “cheaper” heaters on the market but going from experience you should buy well and buy once. I would recommend planar to anyone and this investment has extended the usability of my van to the whole year. Thanks Planar!!!!!
