My experience of Aviemore Ski and Snowboard Hire: 1) They took a pre-booking when they did not have the stock to fulfil it. 2) They tried to pass off a size 10 as a size 11. 3) They hired boots that were antiquated, badly worn and had such severe erosion to the heel that could have been dangerous. (Please see the photos attached) 4) Despite initially agreeing with me that the boots were only fit for the bin, the proprietor became rude and jabbed his finger at me when I asked for compensation, would not let me respond and when I tried to repeat my complaint and told me to leave his shop. I wrote to the shop to confirm this complaint but have received no reply. This is my first review of anything online as I want to ensure that no-one makes the mistake that I did and go for the first name up on Google.
